Search Engine Optimization
During my last job as Senior Vice President of Marketing for Reignmaker Communications in Atlanta, Search Engine Optimization was the largest portion of my marketing budget. Within months of beginning the initiative, Reignmaker had organic page 1 returns on all of the major search engines on carefully selected keyword phrases. Over the course of the following year, the return on investment had topped 400%. Customers acquired via the web had a shorter closing cycle than traditional sales channels, further decreasing the cost per acquisition in our online channel. Just as importantly, though, was the credibility the start-up telecom company received as a real player in the Hosted PBX market by appearing above such well known players like Covad Communications.

E-Commerce
This example again comes from Reignmaker Communication and is an e-commerce Hosted Ordering Interface, which was custom-developed for Reignmaker for integration into 3rd party web sites like PC Mall and Office Depot. The web application feature all of the standard shopping cart and client account creation functions you'd expect in an e-commerce web site. On top of that, however, is a robust "product configurator tool" which helps a customer determine which mix of equipment, bandwidth and service is right for their particular business based on their responses to three simple questions.

Designed by a great Atlanta web design firm, Going Interactive, this website was honored in the 2008 IABC/Atlanta Golden Flame Awards as a GOLD MEDAL WINNER in the category: Electronic Media - Website Overall.
